Rangers' European rebuild hits an early snag
The biggest British story of the night came from Poland, where Jagiellonia Białystok beat Rangers 2-1 in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League third qualifying round tie. Rangers actually made the brighter start, but an own goal from Manny Fernández hauled the Ekstraklasa side level before the hosts struck again to take control. It leaves Derek McInnes still searching for a first competitive win of his Ibrox reign and facing a nervy second leg in Glasgow. Transfer window keeps rolling
